The Orbitist mapping application incorporates tons of unique features to help you create beautiful, interactive maps. This article explains how to use the built in driving directions tool.
USING THE DRIVING DIRECTIONS TOOL
1. Open your Orbitist map and select the point you wish to travel to.
2. Click on the car icon in the bottom left of the point box.
3. Orbitist will create a Google Maps travel route between the destination of the point and your current location. If you wish to change your current location, simply type a new address in the "My Location" field and hit your "Enter" key. You may chose the icons at the top of the box to change your mode of transport for walking directions, biking directions, etc.
4. Click the blue "Details" link to see step-by-step directions or to change the route. You may also print the directions from the details screen by clicking the printer icon in the blue bar at the top of the page.
