Ever wonder how many viewers are looking at your Orbitist map and for how long? It's easy to find out using Google Analytics in the Orbitist mapping application.
USING GOOGLE ANALYTICS WITH ORBITIST
Note: This is a feature only available with Geosynchronous and Heliocentric plans.
1. Log into your Google Analytics account and find the "Tracking ID." To locate it, click the "Admin" tab along the top of your screen. Underneath the "Property" tab, click on "Tracking Info," and then "Tracking Code."
2. Once you've identified your tracking id, which will be on the right side of the screen, copy it.
3. After you've logged into your Orbitist account and have opened the map you've liked to track, click the blue "Map Settings" button.
4. When you arrive to the "Edit Map" page, click on the "Analytics" tab on the bottom left. Paste your tracking id inside the field provided, and click the blue "Save" button.
Immediately, you'll be able to effortlessly track and access data about your map's viewer traffic in your Google Analytics account.
