The Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) contacted us to build a variety of UI/UX updates to their website back in January. Since then, we've worked to provide many changes to their web presence to help showcase the amazing work this district does to protect people from flooding within the Front Range area. Updates include new page templates, blockquotes, buttons, content cards, and more.
The District partners with metro cities and counties to plan, design, construct, and maintain areas to increase safety from floods. They focus on regional trails, open spaces for recreation (they even built a surfing river wave), and wildlife habitats in their mission to protect people, property, and the environment.
We worked with UDFCD to make their website more accessible, even including a Twitter alert feature with a real-time storm map. We enjoyed doing this work; it’s great to help improve a website that has such far-reaching impacts on communities.
